1. Why mental wellbeing matters

Even the strongest athletes can struggle

🤔 Question

Why do you need to think about mental wellbeing? You’re fine. You can handle the pressure, right?

🔥 Answer

Because the more you know yourself - your stress triggers, emotions, and limits - the better you can handle challenges when they happen.

Every athlete, even the elite, faces stress and moments of self-doubt. Ignoring that doesn’t make you stronger, it just makes it harder to perform. Science shows that athletes who take care of their mental wellbeing make clearer decisions, recover faster, and stay in sport longer. Protecting your wellbeing is how you protect your potential.
