FOR SCHOOLS
For schools, performance academies, teams, and governing bodies.
Our vision is simple, to make elite-level guidance accessible to every young athlete, not just the few.
Too many talented young athletes walk away from sport in their teenage years.
It’s rarely a lack of ability. More often, it’s a lack of the right support at the right time.
Teen athletes need to see progress, believe it’s possible, and enjoy the process. Yet many are trying to figure it out without clear, consistent guidance. Schools and youth sport organisations can play a key role here, but staff time and resources are limited.
That’s where The Athlete Place comes in.

The Athlete Place is a digital learning platform with two dedicated areas, one for young athletes and one for parents, designed to align support around the athlete.
Athletes get the tools and knowledge to optimise performance, manage lifestyle, and thrive in sport, education, and life. Parents get clear, practical guidance to support those same habits at home, so the messages athletes receive are consistent and actionable.
Created by former athletes and featuring elite sport role models and subject experts, the content blends lived experience with professional insight, making it both relatable and credible.
Modules cover key performance, wellbeing, and lifestyle topics through bite-sized lessons.
It’s accessed by the athlete and parent independently, is ready-made, and requires minimal staff time to deliver.

Helping parents to support performance and protect their athletes’ enjoyment of sport, with clearer, more confident guidance at home.
✔️ Learn the key areas that shape progress, sleep, nutrition, mindset, and wellbeing.
✔️ Support in ways that lift performance and keep sport positive, through the highs and lows.
✔️ Use built-in reflection prompts to strengthen your routines, reactions, and conversations.

"The Athlete Place is the future of athlete support. This is something I’ve never seen before - a complete, 360-degree approach that guides not just the athlete, but the person behind the performance. It’s a game-changer for young athletes in their sport and life beyond. I wish I had this when I was starting out."
Athletes and parents get instant access to their dedicated platform areas, with bite-sized lessons across key topics.
Most athlete lessons include a short quiz to reinforce learning, and optional interactive My Journal worksheets help athletes identify areas to w and apply what they’ve learned to their own sport and life.
Every lesson includes text-to-speech, making the platform easier to access and consume for different learning needs.
Supporting young athletes today means more than coaching sessions. It means providing credible guidance on performance habits, wellbeing, and lifestyle, at scale, without adding to staff workload. The Athlete Place is built to help schools and youth sport organisations deliver that support consistently, with dedicated platforms for athletes and parents.

As a school, your safeguarding responsibilities don’t stop at the classroom or boarding house — they extend to every pupil who engages in sport. The Athlete Place provides expert-led digital modules that directly support your compliance with recommendations set down in the Duty of Care in Sport report (2017), and Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) wellbeing standards.
This isn’t a wellbeing ‘extra’ — it’s a risk-reducing, reputation-protecting solution that helps you confidently meet parental expectations, inspection readiness, and the emotional needs of your pupils.
The best schools don’t just develop great athletes... they develop future leaders, resilient individuals, and well-rounded young adults.
The Athlete Place helps you do just that.

1. What exactly does The Athlete Place offer our pupils?
The Athlete Place delivers expert, athlete and performance-related content across key areas such as mindset, dealing with disappointment, nutrition, sleep, and balancing school with sport — as well as topics young athletes often find difficult to talk about or seek help for, like mental health and safeguarding. By approaching these subjects in a relatable, athlete-centred way and featuring sport role models, the platform gives pupils access to the support they need now, along with knowledge that will benefit them far beyond their sport and into adult life.
It provides a valuable addition to your school’s existing sport and pastoral support.
2. How easily can this be implemented within our school?
Very easily. The platform is browser-based, quick to set up, and access is managed via pupil or school codes.
While not currently a National Curriculum resource, The Athlete Place is designed to complement your existing provision. Schools can use it flexibly during PE lessons, personal development hours, tutor time, extra-curricular sessions, or as independent study — especially for sport scholars or aspiring athletes.
Students access the platform independently, meaning no extra work for staff — and we provide full onboarding to make rollout effortless.
3. Is the content appropriate for pupils of different ages and sporting levels?
Absolutely. While the platform features elite athletes, The Athlete Place was designed to support all young athletes — not just those on performance pathways. One of our core beliefs is that expert guidance shouldn’t be limited to a select few. Every aspiring athlete deserves access to the kind of guidance that helps them thrive both in sport and in life.
To ensure content feels relevant, we offer two tailored platforms: one for ages up to 18yrs, and the other for 18+. Each is designed to resonate with its specific audience and meet them where they are on their sporting journey.
4. How does this align with our safeguarding and pupil welfare priorities?
The Athlete Place directly supports your school’s safeguarding and pupil welfare priorities through dedicated modules on Athlete Mental Health and Safeguarding. These include topics that align with the preventative, awareness-based approach promoted in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), such as recognising when you're struggling, how to support others, and understanding what constitutes a safeguarding concern — all delivered in a way that’s discreetly accessible, relatable, and athlete-specific.
We know many young people, especially in sport, are reluctant to speak up. That’s why we’ve designed the platform as a self-accessed, safe space — empowering pupils to seek support, build awareness, and better protect themselves and others.
Licences are flexible and based on student numbers and your institution's needs. All plans include full access to our platform's content, worksheets, usage data, and staff resources.
